The Catholic Life PDF Print E-mail
Jesus said that he is the Way, the Truth and the Life. So if he gives us life, he is giving himself. An abundant life therefore is a life where we get to possess God and are possessed by him! It is a life that we can never understand nor imagine – but one that we can experience: to know God himself and to be able to see him face to face.

We always hear about the good news. What is the good news really? The good news is that whatever our situation, whoever we are, whatever our sins are, God wants to give this life to us. He not only wants to give us this life but he has the power to give us this life and he is dying to give this life to us. In fact, he died to give us this life. He calls us to this new life through Jesus Christ his Son.

Being a Catholic does not mean that we live a life of gloom and weakness. It is NOT a life of bondage to rituals and rules of the Church. Being a Catholic is having a new life in Jesus.

It is living a resurrected life in Jesus. This life in Jesus is a life of power. This life in Jesus is a life of hope. This life in Jesus is a life of freedom!

We have power because our God is Almighty. We have hope because our God is faithful. We are free because we know and believe in Jesus Christ - the Way, the Truth and the Life. He is the Son of Living God – the Truth who sets us free! And when the Son of Man sets you free, you shall be free indeed! This is the life God wants to give each and everyone of us. This is the life that I want to have. This is the life that you are looking for.
